A red flag warning will go in effect from 11 am to 10 pm today for wind and low relative humidity for fire weather for the Willamette Valley, Central Oregon coast, the Oregon coast range, Central Oregon Cascade foothills and Willamette National Forest. 10 to 20 mph winds with gusts up to 35 miles per hour and a relative humidity as low as 15 percent are forecast.
Conditions may be favorable for rapid fire spread which may threaten life and property.
Use extra caution with potential ignition sources, especially in grassy areas. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
