Sunday, April 18, 2021 – Woodburn, OR – On Saturday, April 17, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Woodburn Police Officers responded to an armed robbery involving a gun in the area of Tulip Ave/Foxglove St. The victim agreed to give the suspect a ride, but during the drive asked the suspect to get out of the car on multiple occasions. The suspect refused to get out of the car and told the victim he had a gun, instructing the victim to continue driving. The victim stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Tulip Ave/Foxglove St. after seeing residents outside and was able to call for help.
The suspect fled the location on foot after threatening the victim with a gun and stealing multiple personal items. He is described as a heavier set Hispanic male, approximately 30 years old, 5’8 – 5’10, wearing a blue t-shirt, khaki pants and white tennis shoes. Multiple officers checked the area and were unable to locate the suspect.
Woodburn Police are seeking help in identifying the suspect who should be considered armed. The suspect is wanted in connection to Robbery II, Kidnapping II, Coercion and Menacing. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to please contact the Woodburn Police Department at 503-982-2345.
