A Winter Storm Watch for the North Oregon Cascades including Santiam Pass and Detroit is in effect from six p.m. Tuesday evening through four p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Heavy mixed precipitation is possible. Total snow accumulations of up to eight inches and ice accumulations of a quarter to half an inch possible.
Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice.
Travel could be hazardous.
