Willamette Riverkeeper and the City are continuing efforts to control Ludwigia in the Willamette Slough at Minto Brown Island Park. The next round of treatment and hand pulling will begin on Monday, August 22, and run through Friday, August 26. Please use caution around the Willamette Slough during that time.
Treatment will begin at the mouth of the slough on August 22 and Willamette Riverkeeper will have interns available near the Peter Courtney Bridge to provide information and answer questions.
We ask visitors to stay on the main trails and not access the slough during the time of active treatment.
