The city of Salem is warning drivers who use Liberty St. S near Madrona Ave SE to watch for traffic restrictions from August 23 to September 2, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Crews will close one lane northbound on Liberty St. S near Madrona Ave and no left turns will be permitted onto Madrona heading westbound. City crews will be on-site to install new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible curb ramps. It will take about 10 days to pave and install the new sidewalk ramps before the start of the school year.
