Salem, Ore. — Sunnyside Road SE will be reduced to one lane beginning October 31, 2022, as crews work to install a new sewer extension between Baxter Road SE and Fabry Road SE.
Traffic is expected to be impacted during the daytime with flaggers allowing one lane of traffic on Sunnyside Road SE from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. during construction. Signs warning drivers of the upcoming construction will be in place Monday, October 24, 2022, and the construction is expected to last through the end of November. The new sanitary sewer line will accommodate future connections to nearby properties in the neighborhood.
