Salem, Ore. — Due to the extreme weather conditions the City of Salem is closing in-person services at the Civic Center Complex Friday, December 23, 2022. Many City services will remain available online or by phone. Please visit www.cityofsalem.net for a full list of available online resources.
All essential services, including police, fire, public works, and medical services will continue to operate throughout the day. Other City locations closed at this time due to freezing temperatures and unsafe walking and driving conditions include:
- City Hall
- Salem Public Library
- Center 50+
- Customer Service Center
- Permit Application Center
- Salem Housing Authority
- Municipal Court Offices
Service to the Civic Center and other City owned and operated buildings will reopen on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
