Salem, OR—The Oregon Department of Revenue’s Portland regional office at 800 NE Oregon Street, Suite 505, closed Tuesday afternoon, to in person service, due to poor air quality resulting from a fire earlier Tuesday on the roof of the Portland State Office Building. The office is expected to reopen on Wednesday, March 8th.
There is a secure drop box outside the building that is available for taxpayers to deliver any necessary payments or documents, which are removed daily from the drop box by office staff.
The Department of Revenue continues to expand features available through Revenue Online. Individuals can view letters sent to them by the department, initiate appeals, make payments, and submit questions. Visit Revenue Online on the Revenue website at www.oregon.gov/dor to learn more.
