Sheriff’s Office Responds to a CRASH Involving a Turner Fire Engine

On April 5, 2023, at about 12:47pm, The Marion County Sheriff’s Office inter-agency CRASH Team responded to the 4200 block of Delaney Rd SE regarding a reported two vehicle CRASH.  One of the vehicles reported to be involved was a Turner Fire Engine which was responding to a call for service.  The driver, and only occupant, of the fire engine was transported to an area hospital for evaluation regarding non-life-threatening injuries.  No one else involved in this incident was reported to be injured.

This investigation is still open and ongoing and no further information is available currently.  The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank their partners who assisted in this incident, 911 dispatch (METCOM and Willamette Valley Communications Center), Willamette Valley First Responders Chaplaincy, Jefferson Fire Department, Salem Fire Department, Marion County Fire District #1, Keizer Police Department, and Marion County Public Works.
