On April 30, 2023, at about 7:40 PM, while on patrol around Lancaster Dr. NE and Devonshire Ct NE a Marion County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle was struck by gunfire. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident. Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Unit are scene and actively investigating this incident and working with other law enforcement partners, therefore no further details will be released at this time. We will let you know when we can share additional information.
