Residents Can Now Access City Services in One Location
Salem, Ore. – Have you ever wandered Salem’s Civic Center trying to find the right room to address your service needs? Well, now residents can apply, pay, report, request, reserve – all in one location! Residents and community partners are invited to join us for the formal ribbon cutting and to tour the new Customer Service Center, located at Salem Civic Center, 555 Liberty St. SE, Room 100, Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10 a.m.
The new Customer Service Center will serve as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for Salem residents to access City services. The new consolidated service center is part of an Enterprise-wide initiative to enhance customer service for residents. It was designed to create organizational efficiencies, reduce unnecessary and redundant and operational costs, and create a consistent customer experience.
City customer service staff serve approximately 7,000 customers a month. At this new location, residents will be able to:
- Get facility use permits
- Get parking permits
- Get volunteer applications
- Pay court fines
- Pay utility bills
- Pay Transient OCC taxes
- Pay liens and loans
- File a Police report
- Request Parks & Recreation registrations
- Request public records
- Request community resources
- Reserve City facilities
- Reserve bike lockers
- Report concerns
- General information
