Fairview Park is a mostly undeveloped community park at the site of the former Fairview Training Center in south Salem. Our Parks Planning team is beginning to plan improvements to be constructed in 2-3 years. As we begin this work, we are engaging the Salem community to reaffirm and update a shared vision for a welcoming and vibrant space.

This park development is funded through a mix of funds, including System Development Charges (SDC), Safety and Livability Bond, and Fairview Development District Fees. SDCs are fees received from commercial and private developments specifically identified for park and infrastructure improvements.
