(DALLAS, OREGON)  — Today, the City of Dallas announced the launch of their new business resource page. This page provides current and prospective business owners with a step-by-step guide on how to start or expand their business here in Dallas.

The creation of this program was the result of feedback from Dallas businesses and entrepreneurs about the lack of accessible information for them as they began or continued growing their businesses here in Dallas. In addition to the creation of this website, there are also brochures available at City Hall providing business owners with information on how to stay connected with the Economic and Community Development Department, how to prevent crime, and how to keep their businesses safe from fire and other emergencies.

This webpage is entirely free to businesses, and it will be regularly updated to provide the business community with the most up-to-date resources. Tara Townley, the Program Manager for the Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors’ Center, stated, “The collaborative efforts of our city and local organizations, in addition to a supportive community, make Dallas a great place to own a business. The addition of this new resource for our prospective and established businesses is just one example of the efforts made to promote economic vitality.”

This effort comes after the launch of the Dallas Business Inventory earlier this year. This inventory is an additional way that Dallas businesses can be the first to learn about important resources, news, and opportunities that can help their business succeed here in Dallas. Businesses interested in signing up for this inventory can sign up at bit.ly/dallasdbi.
