Salem-Keizer School District officials want your feedback on curriculum for math, English development and language arts. According to the Salem Reporter, the school district is hosting several public viewing sessions starting this week where people can view and comment on materials being considered for adoption. The items under consideration include middle school math, high school language arts and English learner curriculum for non-native speakers in middle and high school. After public viewing, a district committee will make a final curriculum adoption recommendation to the school board, which then votes to approve or not approve the curriculum. Viewing sessions are scheduled for:
-Wednesday, March 6, 5:30-7 p.m., McNary High School library
-Thursday, March 7, 5:30-7 p.m., Sprague High School library
-Tuesday, March 12, 5:30-7 p.m., North Salem High School library
The information is posted on the district’s website.
