Registration is open now for Salem’s 40th Annual National Night Out on August 6. Neighborhoods are encouraged to register early online. National Night Out block parties encourage relationship-building among neighbors, as well as with police, as a way to create a stronger and safer community. Registering a block party allows neighbors to notify Salem Police of the event time and location, and select whether they want to close the street for the event or reserve a neighborhood park. Deadline to register is July 26.
