More than 120 events are planned around Salem for this year’s National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6. Here are a few neighborhoods that are ready to celebrate: Highland Neighborhood potluck, 6-9 p.m. River Road City Park, 3045 River Road N; Southwest Association of Neighbors, 6-8 p.m., Nelson Park 3461 Croisan Creek Rd. S.; Grant Neighborhood Association, 6-9 p.m., Grant School Park, 1390 Cottage St. NE; and Night After National Night Out for the whole community, Wednesday, August 7, at 5 p.m., at McKay Park, 2755 Hollywood Drive NE.
