| For 20 years the Willamette Heritage Center’s (WHC) Magic at the Mill celebration of lights, family-friendly activities, entertainment, and history has been a family and community tradition. With restrictions on large gatherings and the health and safety of our community at the forefront of our minds, we are trying a new tradition this year.
We will be counting down to a virtual Magic at the Mill by lighting up the holiday season with local history. “Countdown to Magic” will provide opportunities for families to come together nightly from Dec. 1 – 18 to experience holiday and light-themed history and activities. At the end of the countdown on Dec. 19 we will launch a virtual Magic at the Mill experience with videos, music, lights, and activities.
Magic at the Mill will be available for free (donations welcome) on our website. Families will be able to navigate a map that includes tour “stops” with volunteer hosts via recorded videos. Enjoy lights, living history, weaving, caroling, Santa, and more!
