The Holiday of Trees Auction is an annual event where local citizens and businesses decorate an artificial tree, add their own personal touches and gifts, and donate it to the Dream Center for auction. The Dream Center, located in West Salem, provides food boxes, mentoring and educational opportunities for local youth and families. If students face difficulties with internet access, the Dream Center offers accessible study areas as well.
View trees in person at West Salem Ace Hardware located at 820 Wallace RD NW starting Nov. 9-15. Mon.-Sat. 8 am-7 pm, Sun. 9 am-5 pm. and bid using the app 32auctions.com/touroftrees. The bidding will close at 7:30 pm on Nov. 15, with winners announced on both the Salem Dream Center and West Salem Ace’s Facebook pages.
