Denise and Hunter open today’s show with Marion County Commissioner Danielle Bethell. Marion County has filed a lawsuit against the Oregon Health Authority and Oregon State Hospital, contending the state has failed to fund, build and staff enough beds for individuals who need inpatient behavioral health restoration services. Later in the show, we talk with Dean Sweeney about the upcoming Rodeo of Champions, “Best in the West” happening on 9/22-9/23 at the OR State Fairgrounds. In between these great segments, Denise and Hunter also discussed the lack of professionalism exhibited by a couple of Salem Keizer School Board directors at their meeting earlier in the week. This bad behavior continues unabated and it’s disrespectful to the community and other board members – bottom line, it’s needs to stop.
