On this episode of The Hope Dealer, Matt welcomes Eric Rasor of Soaring Heights Recovery Homes, an organization helping people rebuild their lives after addiction, homelessness, incarceration, and other difficult circumstances.
Eric and Victoria, who lead Soaring Heights, bring their own lived experience with addiction and the criminal world to their work. Their transitional recovery homes serve men, women, mothers with children, and fathers with children, providing structure, accountability, and support designed to help residents build stable, independent lives.
Eric explains that Soaring Heights isn’t simply a place to stay. Residents are expected to follow rules and actively work toward a better future. The organization helps identify barriers to employment, assists residents in finding work, and makes family reunification a major priority. The results are remarkable: Soaring Heights has helped reunite 80 children with their parents.
It’s a conversation about recovery, responsibility, second chances, and what can happen when people are given both an opportunity and the tools to succeed.
